Fahmi studied mechanical engineering after school and was bored af so dropped out to work as a kitchen hand to support his much more fun hobby, motorbikes.
After national service Fahmi went back to work in the kitchen for about 6 months until he realised the kitchen is where he belonged. He enrolled in culinary school and two years later a chef was born.
He credits his Indonesian heritage and mother's home cooking for his inspiration to meld healthy and delicious together.
Fahmi has worked in world class restaurants such as Saint Pierre, 7ateNine, Brussels Sprouts and Rocks Urban Grill, The Supperclub (a global chain), PS cafe, Summerlong and Super Loco.
